CMD of Rasna ltd awarded Kashalkar Memorial Award

Mumbai, Dec 22: Kashalkar Memorial Award of this year was bagged by Piruz Khambatta, CMD of Rasna Pvt Ltd at a function held by All India Food Processors' Association (AIFPA) here today.

Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Subodh Kant Sahai presented the award. The award is given every year to individuals who promote, encourage and support Indian food processing and preservation industry and raise the standard of quality of the manufacture by scientific and hygienic methods.

Some of the awards presented by the minister on the occasion include Soliendra Krishna Mitra Memorial Award (Rajni Bector of Bector's Food Specialities Ltd), Subhkaran Jatia Memorial Award (Manu Anand of Frito Lay), Dr J S Pruthi Memorial Award (S N Mahendru of Bikenerwala Foods Pvt Ltd), Lifetime Achievement Award (Sirajuddin Qureshi of Hind Agro Industries) and others.

UNI
