Night temp above normal in several parts of the country

Pune, Dec 22 (UNI) Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of southwest Rajasthan,south Madhya Maharashtra and of Vidarbha.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Meghalaya West Bengal and Sikkim,Uttar Pradesh,Jammu and Kashmir,coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of Orissa,Bihar,Haryana,Madhya pradesh, Gujrat state, south Konkan and in remaining parts of Rajasthan and were above normal in Assam,Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Telangana and in some parts of Rayalseema,Tamil Nadu, coastal and north interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Orissa. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occure at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occure at isolated places in Uttaranchal,coastal Andhra Pradesh,Rayalseema,Tamil Nadu,Kerala and Lakshadweep.Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Uttar Pradesh, Haryana,Punjab,Rajasthan,Gujarat state,Konkan and Goa,Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada,Telangana,Karnataka states and Andman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or snow have occured at many places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers have occured at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh,Rayalseema and Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.Mainly dry weather have occured at Uttar Pradesh,Uttaranchal,Haryana,Punjab, Himachal Pradesh,Rajasthan,Gujrat State,Konkan and Goa,Madhya Maharashtra,Marathwadda,Telangana,Karnataka State,Kerala and Kerala.
