NHPC pays dividend of Rs 72 crore for 06-07

New Delhi, Dec 22 (UNI) The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd (NHPC) has paid an interim dividend of Rs 72 crore to the Government of India for 2006-07.

Union Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde was handed over the cheque for the amount by NHPC CMD S K Garg at a function here yesterday. Power Secretary R V Shahi and other senior officials were also present.
