Congress cheating people of Telangana, alleges BJP

Hyderabad, Dec 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh BJP President and former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya today alleged that the Congress, which fought the last general election along side the TRS promising separate Telangana state, was now cheating the Telangana people by planning to appoint Second States Reorganisation Commission (SRC).

In a statement here, he said by planning for a second SRC the Congress was creating unnecessary confusion in the people's mind.

The Congress, by demanding a special package of Rs 10,000 crore for Telangana, was melting down the Telangana issue, he alleged.

He said his party had already expressed concern over the appointment of second SRC.

The Congress should immediately introduce a Bill in the Parliament, for the formation of seperate Telangana state, if it was committed to the creation of Telangana state, he added.
