CM releases AP Assembly jubilee souvenir

Hyderabad, Dec 22 (UNI) Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today released the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Golden Jubilee Souvenir along with Speaker K R Suresh Reddy.

The Chief Minister also released the digitilised cassettes of Assembly proceedings from 1952.

Speaker Suresh Reddy said the proceedings and debates of the Assembly from 1952 could be downloaded. This would be useful for the members.

Assembly Library Chairman and MLA N Manohar said the Lok Sabha proceedings had been digitilised from 1991 whereas the Assembly proceedings of Andhra Pradesh was digitilized from 1952.

He said they proposed to bring out Assembly proceedings and debates from 1996 in video format.

Members of all parties attended the function.
