Bus accident kills two in Bilaspur

Bilaspur, Dec 22 (UNI) At least two people were killed and several injured after a private bus fell into a gorge in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh yesterday, police sources said.

The accident occurred at Panch Piri on the Naina Devi-Bilaspur road in the district at about 1720 hrs.

The sources said senior district officials, including SDM Baldev Thakur, were at the accident site to supervise relief and rescue operations, which were still continuing.

The cause of the accident and the number of people injured in the accident were yet to be ascertained, the sources added.
