Bomb hoax ceates scare in Saurashtra Bank

Surat, Dec 22 (UNI) A hoax call received at the city police control room about a bomb being planted in the Ring Road branch of the State Bank of Saurashtra here, created panic today.

Dog and bomb squad, which rushed to the spot and conducted a thorough search, did not find anything.

Bank officials said the function of the bank was also disrupted due to the hoax call, received at around 1130 hrs.
