All-party meet for corpn poll held in AP

Rajahmundry, Dec 22 (UNI) Rajahmundry Sub-Collector K Sasidhar today said all arrangements have been completed for the smooth conduct of the corporation elections here.

At an all-party meeting held in his office, Mr Sasidhar said genuine voters should be given chance to vote and bogus voters weeded out.

Voters will be enrolled till poll notification is issued. He said 7,200 fresh voters had applied for enrolment of which 5,874 were scrutinised and accepted The details of voter list would be given to Election Commission on December 29.

The meeting was attended by Mayor M S Chakravarthy, Commissioner Chaganti Nagaraja Rao and leaders of various political parties.
