Srinagar, Dec 22 (UNI) As many as 714 Jammu and Kashmir police recruits completed their training in counter insurgency and crafts of battalion administration in just seven months, an official spokesman said today.

He said a colorful passing out parade took place in the Police Subsidiary Training Centre at Sheeri in Baramulla district.

The constables belonging to different armed and Indian Reserve Police (IRP) battalions graduated on the occasion after presenting a impressive march past and drills, the spokesman added.

He said this was the seventh batch of constables who completed the training in condensed period of seven months. Besides schedule syllabus, the constables were trained in crafts of battalion administration and counter insurgency.

The spokesman said Director General of Police Gopal Sharma took the salute of the march past.
