'Vikasa Krishna' meet in city on Dec 26

Vijayawada, Dec 21 (UNI) A one-day 'Vikas Krishna' meet meant for discussing the integrated development of Krishna district with Non-Resident Indians (NRIS) and political leaders would be held here on December 26.

Disclosing this to newsmen here today, Krishna District Collector Navin Mittal and District Zilla Parishad Chairman K Nageswara Rao said the agenda to be discussed in the meeting included Tourism, Education, Medical, Sanitation, Child and Women Welfare, for taking up in the district.

They said the NRIS were prepared to lend a helping hand to take part in developmental activities.

Mr.Mittal said about 100 NRIS were expected to participate in the meet, which would be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh panchayat Raj Minister J C Diwakar Reddy.
