Two cases of dacoity took place in a day at Surat yesterday

Surat, Dec 21 (UNI) Two cases of dacoity worth Rs five lakh took place in the city yesterday.

A mobile phone shop in Adajan area was looted and 85 mobile phones worth Rs 3.83 lakhs stolen last night.

According to Rander police, the culprits broke open the shutter of the shop in Jyoti Shoping Centre near Mulka Bhavan school, went inside and decamped with the mobile.

In yet another loot in the same area, one bunglow of Ashvinkumar Sukhramwala in Saidarshan society in Hanuman Chowk was looted yesterday night and culprits have stolen gold jewellery worth Rs 1.82 lakhs, police said.
