Tosha Khana treasure to be shiftedto Civil Secretariat in J and K

Jammu, Dec 21 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to shift valuables worth hundreds of crore rupees from the Tosha Khana to a strongroom at the Civil Secretariat.

The state cabinet, which met under chairmanship of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad yesterday, discussed the issue in detail and the 'mysterious fire' at the Tosha Khana in Mubarik Mandi.

The safety of the Dogra ruler's treasure and old weaponry of the Maharaja's times, lying in the Tosha Khana was also discussed in the meeting.

The goverment said the incident would be investigated and the guilty brought to book.
