Royal Enfields to cost Rs 2,200 more from Jan 1

New Delhi, Dec 21: Royal Enfield today announced a price hike of Rs 2,200 on all its motorcycles including Bullet 350, Bullet 500, Bullet Electra, Bullet Machismo and Thundrebird from January 1, 2007.

''Continuous rise in input costs of raw material has compelled the company to take this decision, '' a company statement said.

Royal Enfield, one of the oldest motorcycle company, has its only manufactuing unit at Chennai.
