Rajasthan gains lead against K' taka in Merchant trophy
Hyderabad, Dec 21 (UNI) Rajasthan gains first innings lead against Karnataka while Hyderabad were in trouble against Bengal in the fourth round match of U-17 All India Vijay Merchant Trophy being played here today.
Rajasthan made 303, losing just three wickets in 107 overs at stumps. Ashok Manaria with 149 (245 balls, 4x23) and Ankit Lamba with 96 (262 balls, 15x4) were at the crease.
In another match, hosts Hyderabad were in trouble, losing nine wickets in 98 overs. Asharya Rao (42, 4x4) and S Dhanaji (56, 8x4) were the chief scorers for Hyderabad.
Ranjit Kumar Prasad (4/37), Raja Adhikary (3/75) were pick of the bowlers for Bengal.
Score in brief: Bengal 1st innings 212 all out, Hyderabad 1st innings 190/9 in 98 overs.
At NFC grounds: Karnataka 1st innings 268 all out, Rajasthan 1st Innings 303/3 in 107 overs.
