Rain or snow likely at Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh

Pune, Dec 21 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Andman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or snow have occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema and Tamil Nadu.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in south Madhya Maharashtra and in some parts of south Madhya Pradesh and of north Tamil Nadu and were normal in some parts of Marathwada and of Vidarbha.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, north Rajasthan Kutch and coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of Assam, west Uttar Pradesh and Haryana and were above normal in north Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and in some parts of south Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwadda, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala.
