Indo-Myanmar car rally returning to India
Imphal, Dec 21 (UNI) The Indo-Myanmar army car rally after paying tributes to Indian soldiers of WWII at Taukkyan war cemetery, Myanmar, was returning to India today.
The cemetery, located on Yangon Pyay road, about 21 miles north of the Yangon city, is the largest of three war cemeteries in Myanmar built in 1951. The rallyists acknowledged the bravery of 28,380 men, who fought and died during the campaign.
The rally will be entering India through Moreh and halt for the night at Leimakhong military headquarters, Imphal.
