Indian Airlines aircraft effects emergency landing, passengers safe
New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) An Indian Airlines A-320 had to make an emergency landing at the International airport after a malfunction in its engine, airport sources said.
IC-506 heading for Bangalore with 139 passengers on board, made the emergency landing at Palam airport at about 1152 hours after the pilot detected a hydraulic failure in one engine, a spokesperson of the Airport Authority of India said.
Soon after the aircraft took off for Bangalore at 1029 hours, the pilot detected a hydraulic failure in its one of its engines, the spokesperson said.
