Four militants arrested in Kashmir, arms recovered

Srinagar, Dec 21 (UNI) Four militants were arrested and arms and ammunition besides more than Rs one lakh recovered during overnight operations in the Kashmir valley, an official spokesman said.

He said security forces arrested a militant and seized two hand grenades, one UBGL and 25 rounds of ammunition at Shar-Gund in the frontier district of Kupwara.

Police today arrested one militant at Khashtang in south Kashmir and recovered Rs 1,60,000, one letter pad of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and 25 AK rounds.

Two suspected militants were arrested at Pulwama last night, he said.
