Former SCBA President R K Jain dies of heart attack

New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) Eminent senior counsel and former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) R K Jain died this morning of cardiac arrest while returning from a Jain pilgrimage in Jharkhand.

Mr Jain, six times SCBA chief, suffered a heart attack in Rajdhani Express near Aligarh around 0900 hrs He was rushed to a hospital but his life could not be saved.

Mr Jain (62) is survived by his widow and two children- one son and one daughter.

Mr Jain was both President(six terms) and secretary ( two terms) of SCBA.

He will be cremated tomorrow at 1030 hrs at Nigambodh Ghat here.
