Fifteen teams confirm participation in Padmajung tournament

Agartala, Dec 21 (UNI) Altogehter 15 local clubs and Kolkata-based East Bengal's junior team have confirmed their participation in the Padmajung Invitation Football tournament to be held from January 2 at Kailashahar in North Tripura.

Besides the hosts SAI, BSF, TFA eleven and Kailashahar eleven, YSC, SUnited and Eleven Star of Manipur, Assam Police Blues, Kokrajhar blues, and SAI team from outside the state will participate in the tournament.

Two neighbouring Bangladesh teams -- Rising Sun and Sylhet eleven - are also expected to take part in the competition.
