Escorts' turnover up 72% at Rs 1,750cr this year
New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) Escorts Ltd, one of the leading manufacturer and supplier of Agri Machinery Products has posted a 72 per cent increase in turnover at Rs 1,750 crore, as compared to Rs 1015 crore previous year annualised basis.
''Strong GDP growth and a buoyant economy coupled with our focused efforts in the Market Place and in our Operations, were key in the remarkable turnaround at Escorts,'' Escorts Ltd Chairman Rajan Nanda said today.
However, operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBIDTA) was Rs 107.31 crore representing a positive swing of Rs 115.37 crore, as compared to a loss of Rs 8.07 crore previous year.
In turn, the positive EBIDTA yields total profit before tax of Rs 34.44 crore as compared to Rs 24.82 crore previous year annualised basis.
