Doctor claims cure for HIV/AIDS
Shimla, Dec 21 (UNI) An independent researcher and registered practitioner (IBAM) today claimed to have discovered a medicine for HIV/AIDS, saying that he had already successfully treated 23 patients suffering from this disease in Delhi.
''The medicine, ''Phthaoxambenhiline'', extracted from natural herbs and is the result of 10 years of laborious research,'' Member of the World Society of Alternative Medicines (USA) and an independent researcher, Kulwant Singh Jaswal, said at a press conference here.
''The medicine is a neutral oral route of administrable multifunctional gene therapy for the treatment of HIV/AIDS/Cancer and is deprived from the natural medicinal sources and highly processed and developed in proper scientific system and designed as Cell Targeted Medicine,'' he claimed.
Dr Jaswal said the medicine begins functioning from bone marrow to immune system and was efficient in safeguarding the internal system from foreign bodies.
Accompanied by Rajiv Gandhi Ayurveda College Paprola Principal, Prof Chanchal Sharma, he detailed the components of the medicine, while claiming to have successfully treated almost two dozen patients with this medicine at Delhi.
''The therapy requires a course of one month after which a patient needs three months time to become HIV negative. The one month therapy costs around Rs 20,000 to 30,000 only,'' he said.
He said the formulation of '''Phthaoxambenhiline'' was a process in which the raw ingredients were converted into an administrable form and its pharmacological or pharmaceutical properties optimized and tested.
During research, all aspects of pre-clinical toxicology studies were undertaken and investigated besides establishing the safety of the medicine and its toxicity profile (side effects), he said.
