COWE to organise seminar on Capacity Building in IT

Hyderabad, Dec 21 (UNI) Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) will organise a seminar on 'Capacity Building in IT and ITES sectors - Challenges and Opportunities for Entrepreneurs' under the aegis of Information Technology and Communication (IT and C) Department here on January 10, during GITEX INDIASOFT Exhibition.

Andhra Pradesh emerged as a leading destination for the major ICT companies due to the proactive government policies. To realize the growth opportunities and transform the state as a knowledge society, participation of women at various levels of the technology was essential.

To auger this paradigm, technology growth shifted as a mean for empowerment and enrichment of women. COWE was actively working along with IT and C department in spreading the endeavour through various platforms and providing all the required support to the women, from training to the entrepreneurial participation.

The current seminar aimed to undertake a major drive in capacity building of graduates, with the objective of providing value added IT services, ITES and BPO.
