Cong creating pre-1947 like condition in the country: BJP

New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) BJP today alleged that Congress with its vote politics is creating pre-1947 like condition in the country that may lead to another partition.

''Congress is creating situation similar to 1947-eve, which may divide the country again due to the party's politics of votes,'' former BJP National President Murli Manohar Joshi said at a protest meet against the UPA government's appeasement policy here.

''Manmohan government is completely soft towards terrorism due to its Muslim appeasement policy. That is why incidents of terrorism are taking place in India every day,'' he said.

Both China and Pakistan were indulging in terrorist activities against India to curtail the present map of India. The UPA government was not protecting the country's borders knowingly, he added.

''Afzal Guru is not being hanged so that Congress would get Muslim votes,'' he said and however added that if Afzal was not hanged then India would ''burn''.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP Parliamentary Party Spokesman V K Malhotra alleged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh while welcoming the proposal of Pakistan had almost handed over Jammu and Kashmir to that country by opening up Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir-Jammu and Kashmir border.

''The government is well aware that terrorist bases are being run in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. Inspite of this they are opening entry gates for terrorists. While India fought four wars over Kashmir, Congress is conspiring to hand it over to Pakistan just for votes.'' He said Congress had become blind in its effort to garner Muslim votes and constituted seven committees for their appeasement. Even a ministry for minorities had been set up for the first time in the country. Member of Muslim League had been included in the union cabinet. This had not even been done by previous Congress PMs Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
