Ranchi, Dec 21 (UNI) The Opposition NDA's hue and cry over their demand of CBI inquiry into the death of BIT student Abhishek Mishra in Jharkhand Assembly today, on the third consecutive day of winter session, resulted in adjournment of the House during zero hour.

The NDA members came near the Speaker's chair and shouted slogans in support of their demand and also disturbed the House proceedings by displacing the reporter's chair.

Despite noisy scenes the speaker announced the names of MLAs for their questions during zero hour.

In the beginning of zero hour, suspended BJP MLA Ravindra Rai demanded a CBI inquiry into 'Man hurt' issue.

He said only a CBI inquiry would make the facts clear.

Supporting the demand of Mr Rai, Mr Girinath Singh(RJD) said the matter was being inquired by an Assembly committee adding the matter was related with the 'misuse of government fund' and CBI inquiry should be conducted.

Meanwhile, Inder Singh Namdhari(JD-U) said a committee was formed by the Assembly and programme implementation committee was looking into the report and discussions should be held after the report comes.

C P Singh(BJP) supported Mr Namdhari on the matter.

Supporting the demand of Mr Rai Pradip Kumar Balmuchu said government should conduct the inquiry through CBI.
