Sheetal Mahajan falls to glory, lands on South Pole
New Delhi, Dec 20 (UNI) Pune-born Sheetal Mahajan landed another milestone in her free-fall jumping career when she descended on the South Pole last weekend.
The 24-year-old Maharashtra girl, who had earlied landed on the North Pole, thus became the youngest woman to achieve the feat of jumping over both the poles on late Sunday night.
Sheetal is also the first woman to do accelerated free fall jump over the Antarctica from 10,000 feet.
