City BJP gears up for BMC elections, announces manifesto committee

Mumbai, Dec 19 (UNI) City BJP president Prakash Mehta today announced the manifesto committee for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, scheduled to be held on February one.

A BJP release issued here today said Madhu Chavan, MLC, will be convenor of the committee, while city BJP general secretary Atul Bhatkhalkar has been appointed convenor of the steering committee.

The Shiv Sena-BJP alliance is ruling the BMC and trying its level best to keep their citadel intact.
