Mohan appointed as IBM India's Chief Scientist

Bangalore, Dec 18 (UNI) IBM today announced the appointment of IBM Fellow Dr C Mohan as the Chief Scientist of IBM India.

In the new role, Dr Mohan would be responsible for the development and leadership of IBM's technical community in India and help leverage IBM's technical strengths to build synergies with key stakeholders, give impetus to client engagements and develop first-of-its kind projects in the country, IBM India said in a release here.

Dr Mohan would also be a key representative of IBM India's technical community with the Government, academia, customers and business partners. An IBM veteran, Dr Mohan held 34 patents to his credit and was till recently at IBM's Almaden Research Centre in San Jose, California, where he worked on database and related topics.
