Kota court gives Hema Malini time till Dec 22 for reply

Kota, Dec 18 (UNI) A local court today granted film actress Hema Malini time till December 22 to reply in a ten-year-old case, relating to non-return of performance fees.

Appearing for Ms Malini, Chandrashekhar Raikwar submitted before District and Sessions judge Totla that she needed time to reply to a case accusing her of not returning the amount of Rs 50,000 given to her as advance for performing at a Dussehra Mela here on November 26, 1997.

The petitioner Suresh Gujjar, in his petition, asked as to why the Kota Municipal Corporation did not try to recover from the film actress the advance when the Dussehra Mela was not held.
