Revoke suspension of judicial officers: Vaiko

Chennai, Dec 17 (UNI) Marumalarchi DMK general secretary Vaiko today sought immediate revocation of suspension of Principal District Judge, Tirunelveli, Naganathan and Judicial magistrate Nagarajan and suitable action against the erring police personnel, who filed false complaint against them.

In a statement here, Mr Vaiko said as the suspension against the judicial officers were ordered based on false police complaints, and the advocate community in the state were agitating against it.

''The suspension of the judicial officers based on the false complaint of the police had clearly showed that the police could interfere in the judicial process by threatening the judicial officers. It would be inappropriate for the administration of justice,'' he added.
