'Prove misuse of official machinery during election: Kumaraswamy
Mysore, Dec 17 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today challenged the opposition Congress to prove misuse of official machinery during by election to the Chamundeswari Assembly seat held on December 4.
Stating that his party was ready to face the opposition in the next Assembly Session, he said that Janata Dal (Secular) and the government would answer the ''false propaganda'' by the Congress during the election campaign.
Mr Kumaraswamy, who was addressing party workers rally organised to thank the voters of Chamundeswari constituency, said that irrespective of party candidate losing the election, the government would fulfill the promises made during election and denied that his party had spent about Rs 100 Crores for the campaign.
The Chief Minister also apologised to the media for his outburst during the election campaign.
He said that Opposition may not find issue to complain in future since the government would complete the developmental works within stipulated period.
Alleging that Congress has been making unwarranted allegations against the coalition government as well as his family members, Mr Kumaraswamy said that '' time has come to teach lessons in the coming days with programmes and policies.'' UNI BSP MSP VD RN1812
