President Kalam tonight arrived on a two-days visit to the city

Bangalore, Dec 17 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam tonight arrived on a two-days visit to the City.

He was received by top defence and civil officials who were present at the airport.

After overnight stay in Raj Bhavan, Kalam would inaugurate a week-long 1047th Birth Anniversary of pontiff of Sri Adijagadguru Shivarathriswara.

Mr Kalam would inaugurate a three-day International Conference on Trends in 'Product Life-Cycle Modeling Simulation and Synthesis (PLMSS)-2006 organised jointly by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc)Campus.

The President would dedicate the Thrombosis Research Institute to the nation at the campus of Narayana Hrudayalaya Health City in the outskirts of the city before leaving for Tamil Nadu.
