Jaya greets Vaiko ahead of Mullaiperiyar 'Padayatra'

Chennai, Dec 17 (UNI) AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa today conveyed her good wishes to Marumalarchi DMK General secretary Vaiko, who is undertaking a six-day ''Mullaiperiyar Dam Rights Protection Padayatra'' in Madurai from tomorrow.

In a statement here, Ms Jayalalithaa pointed out that during the 'Padayatra', Mr Vaiko would be holding several wayside meetings and expressed hope that it would help to educate people on the Mullaiperiyar Dam issue.

She wanted that Mr Vaiko should also expose how Chief Minister Karunanidhi and 'Company' cheated the people of Tamil Nadu in the the issue, besides unraveling the dual role adopted by the national parties in this regard.
