AP govt to set up mobile hospitals in tribal districts
Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has announced that the government would set up mobile hospitals in the district which come under the areas of Nallamala forests in the state.
Participating in a programme at Srisailam yesterday, Dr Reddy said the mobile hospitals would help the tribals to access medical facilities as the agency areas did not have hospitals.
He said the government would also set up an IIT training centre at Srisailam to provide training to the tribal students. The government was committed for the upliftment of the tribals in the state, he said.
