TNCSC to procure 15 lakh tonne Samba paddy

Thanjavur, Dec 16: The Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation (TNCSC) will procure 15 lakh tonne of paddy in the coming Samba harvest season.

According to TNCSC sources, the procurement target was announced by Corporation Chariman Shanmugam during discussions with officials yesterday.

Paddy with moisture content of up to 22 per cent will be accepted at the Direct Procurement Centres (DPCs), they said.
