Pune, Dec 16 (UNI): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujart state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka states.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar. Mainly dry weather prevailed in Lakshadweep.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in north coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of coastal Orissa and were below normal in interior Orissa and Goa and in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan, northwest Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat state and in some parts of Haryana and were above normal in Punjab and in some parts of Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of Maharashtra. They were normal over the rest of the country.
