PM had chance meeting with former US President Bush Sr.

Tokyo, Dec 16 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had a chance meeting with former United States President George Bush at his hotel here last night.

Sources said the senior Mr Bush, father of current US President George W Bush, was in Tokyo on a private visit along with his wife and they were staying in the same hotel -- Four Season -- where the Prime Minister was staying.

When Mr Bush found out that Dr Singh was also in the same hotel, he expressed his desire to meet him.

When the Prime Minister returned from the talks with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe last night, the two met in the hotel lobby and spent some time exchanging pleasantries and notes on Indo-US relations, the sources added.
