Kingfisher First wins the ITC Indian Masters Polo Trophy 2006

New Delhi, Dec 16 (UNI) Vishal Singh scored four as Kingfisher First beat Sona Polo 7-6, to win the ITC Indian Masters Polo Trophy here today.

In an exciting and fast paced match, while the first three chukkars seemed one sided with Sona Polo maintaining a strong lead, Kingfisher First came into its own in the last chukkar with two brilliant goals which levelled the score at six goals apiece.

The winning team pocketed a sizeable sum of Rs 200,000 as prize money. Runners-up, Sona Polo, were given Rs 100,000 in prize money.
