Giles to fly home from Ashes tour to join sick wife

LONDON, Dec 16 (Reuters) England left-arm spinner Ashley Giles is to fly home from the Ashes tour of Australia to join his wife Stine who has fallen ill.

A statement from the England and Wales Cricket Board today said Stine Giles was ''suffering from a potentially serious illness''.

Giles, who was dropped from the side for the third test in Perth after playing in Brisbane and Adelaide, will be replaced by Middlesex off spinner Jamie Dalrymple.
