FICCI's Amit Mitra hospitalised in Tokyo

Tokyo, Dec 16: Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) secretary-general Amit Mitra was hospitalised here last night after he complained of uneasiness.

FICCI sources said Dr Mitra, who was here as part of a business delegation during Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to Japan, was in a stable condition.

Doctors attending on him indicated that he had viral fever and would need to stay in hospital for a couple of days.
