Kolkata, Dec 16 (UNI) While the cricketing fraternity in Kolkata kept on searching for a word to react to CAB president Jagmohan Dalmiya life ban from BCCI, the man himself geared for another war.

Talking to UNI on phone on his way to Delhi from Jaipur Dalmiya said, ''At this point of time I have nothing to say but certainly it will not go unchallenged.'' However, however, since Mr Dalmiya does not have a recourse to make an appeal to BCCI for next three years as the decision remains binding till that period, a legal step seemed to be the only option left.

Meanwhile, BCCI's secretary Niranjan Shah told UNI here from Jaipur that this ''landmark resolution only proved that no one is above BCCI constitution and its rules. It also proved that the BCCI is trasparent to the core.'' Official in the Cricket Association of Bengal refused to comment on the matter till their president return.

However, Police Commissioner and Mr Dalmiya's advarsary Prasun Mukherjee said the BCCI was parent body and it was too premature to make any comment on the subject. Mr Mukherjee is in the additonal committee for development cricket in Bengal.

Mr Dalimya was banned for life today in a special general body meeting of the BCCI in Jaipur for his alleged misappropriation of fund to the tune of Rs 42 crore in the BCCI. The resolution was passed to vote 29-2 by SGM and it held that Mr Dalmiya will not be able to hold any post whatsoever in any capacity either in the BCCI or any of its affiliated unit.

Howver, a contradiction present itself as the CAB's constitution debar removal of its president midterm.
