Ayush doctors, pharmacists to be appointed in 200 health centres
Bhopal, Dec 16 (UNI) Ayush doctors and pharmacists would be appointed in 200 primary and community health centres of Madhya Pradesh on contract basis for a period of three months.
The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) has sanctioned Rs 1.02 crore for the purpose.
Besides, the state has also received grant worth Rs 50 lakh for distribution of Ayush medicines and holding health 'melas' in different parts of the state, an official release said here yesterday.
The state government's Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy had sent a proposal to the Ministry for Health and Family Welfare for appointment of Ayush doctors and pharmacists in the state.
Following the grant provided by the Centre under the NRHM, now Ayurved, Homeopathy and Unani graduates would be appointed on a monthly payment of Rs 12,000, the release added.
