US STOCKS - Futures extend gains on strong retail sales
NEW YORK, Dec 13 (Reuters) U.S. stock futures extended gains on Wednesday as stronger-than-expected growth in November retail sales boosted optimism about the outlook for corporate profits.
Standard&Poor's 500 futures were up 4.50 points and above fair value, a mathematical formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract.
Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 35 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 7.25 points.
