Uma Bharti critices Vasundhara Raje
Udaipur, Dec 13 (UNI) Taking a potshot at Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, firebrand Bhartiya Jan Shakti leader Uma Bharti has said public modesty is a prerequisite in democracy and the official machinery cannot be misused for merry-making in the form of fancy dress and picnic.
Criticising Ms Raje for the recent lip-lock and ramp walk controversies, Ms Bharti said here at a meeting yesterday that the BJP government in Rajasthan comes out on top in corruption. The Congress is at least within limits in terms of corruption but BJP has crossed all limits of decency in terms of corruption.
She said the present government is not working for the welfare of the downtrodden but is busy filling up the pockets of leaders.
Elaborating on the Ram temple construction at the disputed site, she said the way Hindus respect Islam, Sikhism, Christianity, people from all other faiths should respect Hinduism and temples should be built in Kashi and Mathura apart from Ayodhya.
