Two fishermen injured in boat capsize

Puducherry,Dec 13(UNI) Two fishermen of Nallavadu village were injured when their boat capsized on the sea mouth here today.

According to police, four fishermen of Nallavadu, including Pavadai and Raja were returning to the shore this afternoon after their catch, but when they reached the sea mouth to enter the fishing harbour to berth their boat, it capsized, injuring both Pavadi and Raja.

The Coast guard personnel and fellow fishermen resuced them and towed the damaged boat to the shore. The fishermen were treated as outpatients in a hospital here. They also lost a portion of their catch in the mishap.
