Two dead, three injured in firing in Jamnagar

Jamnagar, Dec 13 (UNI) Two persons were shot dead and three others injured when some persons opened fire in the office of a local BJP leader near Amber Cinema in the city today.

The incident was a fallout of a dispute related to a deal, involving a sum of Rs 1.50 crore, police said.

A meeting of some persons had been arranged at the office of Milan Modi, the BJP leader. But soon, a fight broke out this afternoon, leading o the firing.

Ramesh Chandra Garg and Alabhai Ahir died on the spot, while Milan Modi, his son Gaurang and Mahesh Agrawal were injured.

Gaurang's condition is said to be serious, police said.
