Police patrolling strengthened in view of strike

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 13 (UNI) Police in Kerala have made elaborate arrangements in view of the Left-sponsored one-day strike tomorrow.

A statement issued by the Director General of Police said here that steps would be taken to ensure that the strike did not paralyse essential services in the State. Police patrolling in highways had been strengthened.

Stringent action would be taken against those, who indulged in violence and prevent those who attend offices. Special arrangements had been made for the transporation of stranded passengers at airports and railway stations.
