No question of making deputy CM in C'garh: Raman
Raipur, Dec 13 (UNI) Chief Minister Raman Singh has scotched up speculations that the state will get a tribal deputy Chief Minister in view of drubbing received in the by-election to tribal-dominated Kota assembly.
''There is no plan to create a post for deputy Chief Minister let alone the question of giving the post to a person from a particular community,'' Dr Singh told UNI.
Claiming that tribals had adequate representation in the cabinet, he said neither his government nor his party could think of neglecting that section, whose support brought his government into power.
On sending some ministers, belonging to other sections, to the organisation and including some tribal members in the cabinet in their place, Dr Singh said ministry reshuffle was on the cards but no decision on including new faces had been taken.
''The party has to decide to send whom to the government and to send whom to organisation. There is no such proposal so far,'' he said, adding that he would discuss it with national leaders after BJP national executive meeting in Lucknow next fortnight.
