Maruti, Leyland to open driving schools in Haryana
Kaithal, Dec 13 (UNI) Maruti Udyog Ltd and Leyland Motors will open three motor driving training schools with all modern facilities in Haryana.
While one the schools will be opened at Kaithal, the other two will be at Bahadurgarh and Rohtak .
A sum of Rs 36 crore will be spent on setting up these schools, Transport minister Randeep Singh Surjewala said at a media conference here today.
Elaborating further Mr Surjewala said that land measuring 10 acres will be acquired for each of these schools. When opened these schools will open employment avenues for thousands of youths, the minister said .
The driving course in these schools will be for three and six months duration and the responsibility to maintain these schools will rest with the companies. Hostel and classroom facilities will be available in these schools, he added.
