Lok Sabha congratulates Jaspal Rana for excelent performance

New Delhi, Dec 13 (UNI) The Lok Sabha today congratulated shooter Japal Rana who has won thre gold medals in pistol shooting at the ongoing Asian Games at Doha.

''It is matter of great pride that in the ongoing Asian Games at Doha our ace shooter Jaspal Rana has been chosen the Best Sportsperson," Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee said.

He has won three gold medals in the pistol shooting event, thus substantially adding to the country's medal tally at the games, he added.

The House joined the Speaker in congratulating Jaspal Rana on his excellent performance which has brought laurels to the country.
